Clinical Trail Training Workshop on the Efficacy and safety of Artesunate-Amodiaquine (AS-AQ) and Artemether-Lumefantrine (AL) for the treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria in the Center Region of Cameroon

The training took place at the biotechnology centerr of the University OF Yaounde-I from Thursday 18th to Friday 19th of March, 2021.

The training started with a welcome address, the introduction of the training program and Objectives of the training by Prof Mbacham

All the participant undertook a pre-test

An overview of Malaria was presented by Mrs. Neuly after the pre-test

Clinical procedures: Screening, eligibility criticia, informed consent, enrolmennt, follow-up and classification of study end points, data management procedures: filling of CRF and data entry procedures were presented by Dr Akindeh
We then had the welcome address by the director of the Biotechnology center prof Mbanya
Then prof Bigoga presented then presented the study protocol, rationale and overview of trial procedures
Then pharmacy procedures: Investigational medication administration and accountability/trial monitoring and protocol adherence procedures/supportive supervision was presented by Dr Valentine Ndikum
Anti-fraud, Anti-terrorism and Good Governance was presented by Mr. Deffo
Laboratory procedures was presented by Mrs Gwanmesia and Mr. Niba

Stimulation of the Study of the team by Dr. Chedjou, Mr Niba

Closing remarks and end of training was done by prof Mbacham
